We had so much fun celebrating International Widows Day on June 23. Everyone in our Widows Care Community was treated to ice cream! For our widows in the Desoto Texas area, they were able to drive up to Braums, let them know they were a widow and get an ice cream treat for everyone in their car! And for our widows in the greater Texas area as well as 5 other states, they each received a gift card to their favorite ice cream spot in their home town. Thank you for every donation that allows us to remind our widows how much they are loved and bring them moments of joy, healing and connection throughout the year!

Kudos to Downie Craig and committee. What a nice throat quencher to have on a very hot day. Thank you for including the other WOC widows that live in the surrounding cities and states who also got to experience the tasty treat of ice cream on International Widows Day.
