The Need is Great

The loss of a spouse is devastating and life changing. Troubleshooting for Christ seeks to support widows and their children in their times of need.

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."

James 1:27

What We Do

We offer several programs to support the needs of widows. We provide care at The Comfort Cottage, food delivery to our widows and support for their children. Troubleshooting For Christ provides loving, Christ-centered care to our widows any time during their time of grieving.

"I remember when the doctors informed me that I would have to undergo surgery a second time. My first thought was who would I ask to help me while recovering from surgery. The following Sunday while attending church, I remember going to Ms. Downie Craig, the founder of Troubleshooting for Christ, and asking for prayer regarding my surgery. Knowing I was a widow, she immediately offered to keep me at The Comfort Cottage during my recovery.

Troubleshooting for Christ not only helped me during my recovery, but the team was there during my surgery, and they took me to all my follow-up appointments. They prepared my meals and made sure I took my medication. It was rough during those first few days, but I made it through with the help of Troubleshooting for Christ and my Heavenly Father. God knew that I would need someone to help me, and that was Troubleshooting for Christ.  I will always be grateful for their hospitality and kindness."
